Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy
Platform: Harmony Relief (harmonyrelief.org) | Effective Date: July 27, 2026 | Version: 2026.2
Welcome to Harmony Relief ("harmonyrelief.org", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy ("Terms", "AUP") set forth the legally binding terms and conditions governing access to and use of our fundraising services, digital interfaces, and connected payment processing systems.
By accessing our website, creating a fundraising campaign, or contributing funds to any campaign hosted on harmonyrelief.org, you ("User", "Campaign Organizer", or "Donor") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all access and use of the Platform.
1. Campaign Verification Standards
Harmony Relief maintains rigorous verification protocols to preserve platform integrity, protect donor contributions, and ensure compliance with global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Identity & Legal Registration: Campaign Organizers must provide verified government-issued identification, official organizational documents (e.g., business entity registration, tax identification numbers), and bank account ownership proof prior to receiving disbursed funds.
- Documentary Evidence & Verification: All campaigns published on the Platform must present truthful, accurate, and verifiable claims regarding the intended use of funds, target beneficiaries, and field logistics. Organizers are required to retain itemized invoices, supply receipts, and physical dispatch photo logs.
- Sanctions & Watchlist Screening: Every organizer, beneficiary organization, and connected financial account is automatically screened against global sanction databases, politically exposed persons (PEP) lists, and government watchlists prior to campaign activation and disbursement.
2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) & Prohibited Activities
In direct alignment with global payment processing standards and Stripe’s Prohibited and Restricted Businesses Policy, Users are strictly forbidden from utilizing Harmony Relief to host, promote, or facilitate any campaign or transaction associated with the following categories:
a) Illegal Activities, Weapons & Ammunition
Prohibits any campaign involving illegal goods, illegal acts, firearms, firearm parts, explosive materials, toxic substances, tactical military weaponry, or ammunition sales, manufacturing, or distribution.
b) Adult Content & Sexually Explicit Services
Prohibits pornographic material, sexually explicit services, escort agencies, adult entertainment establishments, or adult-oriented media and webcam operations.
c) Gambling, Lotteries, Raffles, Sweepstakes & Games of Chance
Prohibits games of chance, lotteries, raffles, sports betting, casino gaming, fantasy sports leagues with cash prizes, sweepstakes, or any financial scheme involving entry fees for prizes.
d) Counterfeit Goods, IP Infringement & Deceptive Marketing
Prohibits unauthorized replicas, pirated digital goods, trademark or copyright infringement, false endorsements, pyramid or multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, and misleading fundraising claims.
e) Debt Settlement, Credit Repair & Unlicensed Financial Services

3. Right to Suspend, Freeze, or Terminate
Harmony Relief reserves the absolute, unilateral right to inspect, monitor, hold, freeze, or terminate any campaign, user profile, or connected Stripe payment account without prior notice if we reasonably suspect:
- A violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- Misrepresentation of campaign goals, falsified documentation, or fraud;
- High chargeback rates, suspicious card activity, or financial instability;
- Inquiries or directives issued by law enforcement, financial regulators, or Stripe risk compliance officers.
Note on Frozen Capital: In cases of verified fraud or AUP violations, funds remaining in escrow or connected merchant accounts will be frozen and re-routed back to original donors or turned over to appropriate legal authorities.
4. Crowdfunding Contribution & Refund Guidelines
Nature of Personal Crowdfunding Support: All contributions made on harmonyrelief.org represent voluntary personal support for community campaigns and social initiatives. Contributions are direct personal gifts and are NOT tax-deductible.
7-Day Refund Grace Window for Clerical Errors: Donors who experience genuine technical errors (such as unintended duplicate clicks or incorrect amount entries) may request a refund within 7 calendar days of the transaction date by submitting a request to contact@harmonyrelief.org.
Fund Deployment & Allocation: At least 90% of campaign proceeds are disbursed directly to verified field logistics, medical procurement, and disaster response teams. In cases where a campaign exceeds its target or field access becomes impossible, excess funds are reallocated to equivalent emergency humanitarian causes.
5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Harmony Relief, its directors, officers, employees, and technological partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your access to or use of the Platform.
While we enforce strict verification standards, field operations in emergency zones, natural disasters, and conflict regions carry inherent volatility. Harmony Relief does not warrant that supply routes, regional transit, or field disbursements will remain completely uninterrupted by force majeure events.
